Mina joined Niman Mamo as a summer student and returned to complete her articles before joining the firm as an associate following her call to the Ontario Bar in 2026.

Mina graduated cum laude from the University of Ottawa’s Faculty of Law, where she co-founded and served as Co-President of the Middle Eastern and North African Law Students’ Association for two years. Prior to law school, Mina obtained her Honours Bachelor of Arts with Distinction from the University of Toronto, where she studied Political Science and Criminology and Sociolegal Studies.

Throughout her time at Niman Mamo, Mina has developed experience in a broad range of family law matters, including parenting disputes, child and spousal support, and complex financial and property issues. She understands that family law is rarely just about the law and is committed to helping clients navigate challenging circumstances with compassion, practical advice, and effective advocacy.

Mina speaks five languages – English, Kurdish, Arabic, Assyrian, and Turkish – which allows her to connect with clients from diverse communities and appreciate the cultural and religious considerations that can arise in family law matters.

Outside of the office, you can find Mina planning her next trip, exploring Toronto’s restaurant scene, or convincing her friends and family to try a new cafe she has discovered.
