Charitable Initiatives

St. Clare Inn is a transitional housing project offering accommodation to homeless women struggling with a diagnosed mental health issue. They provide temporary housing for up to one year in a home-like setting, with an emphasis on re-building lives and self-esteem. Niman Mamo LLP is proud to support St. Clare Inn by sponsoring their 2025 and 2026 fundraising galas. 

As part of our Community Outreach Initiative,  a team of lawyers, law students and law clerks from Niman Mamo visited the Toronto Humane Society in the spring of 2026 to assist in packing food for the animals. They packed 72 bags of cat food while also enjoying the opportunity to learn more about the important work done by the Humane Society and to greet some of their adorable residents!

On March 5, 2026, Niman Mamo invited the family law community to join us in a fundraising event for Holland’s Bloorview’s Capes for Kids initiative, an annual fundraiser supporting vital research, programs and services for pediatric disability care. We were touched by the generosity and adventurous spirit of the family law community, many of whom donned their superhero capes and raised over $30,000 for the important work done at Holland Bloorview. We wish to extend our since thanks to our colleagues who attended and donated and the team at Holland Bloorview for their support that made the event possible!

Niman Mamo was proud to partner with Storm’s Miracle Tree to provide holiday gifts for  children in need over the 2025 holiday season. Our team very much enjoyed selecting and wrapping gifts for 11 children, ranging in age from infants to older teenagers.

On September 30, 2025, Niman Mamo LLP sponsored the evening meal for Lawyers Feed the Hungry, an initiative of the Law Society Foundation. Lawyers Feed the Hungry is a year-round meal program that serves upwards of 1200 hot meals weekly out of Osgoode Hall. In addition to the firm’s sponsorship of the meal, a group of lawyers and law students from Niman Mamo LLP had the opportunity to serve the meal to community members. We enjoyed the opportunity to spend some time together outside of the office for a very worthy cause.
