Karen Law
Karen has practiced family law exclusively since her call to the bar in 2013. She is a passionate and dedicated advocate for her clients. She has successfully worked on matters before all levels of Court in Ontario and appeared before the Ontario Court of Justice and Superior Court of Justice.
Karen has a wide range of experience with parenting, support, support enforcement, and property issues, with a diverse clientele. She focuses on practical solutions and processes to achieve her clients’ goals, which include collaborative family law, mediation, and litigation.
Prior to joining the Niman Mamo LLP team, she practiced with a boutique family law firm and articled at the Family Responsibility Office. She attended law school at the University of Toronto, where she assisted low-income individuals through the family courts as a volunteer with the Family Law Project (Pro Bono Students Canada).
In her free time, Karen enjoys spending time with family, baking sourdough bread, and searching out the best eats and libations in Toronto when she does not have her nose in a novel.
