Samantha is passionate about helping people through what can be the most difficult personal experience in their life. She understands the importance of working directly with the client and making sure they have a voice. Samantha started her practice in family law and as an agent for the Public Prosecution Service of Canada, gaining knowledge in both family and criminal law and getting significant courtroom experience. As an associate at Niman Mamo, Samantha has chosen to focus exclusively on family law because of her passion for just and fair resolutions both in and out of the courtroom.
Before going to law school, Samantha moved to New York where she graduated cum laude from New York University after which she had the unique opportunity to study and work in design in San Diego, New York and Melbourne, Australia. After returning to Toronto in 2007, Samantha obtained her Master’s in Criminology at the University of Toronto and completed certificate programs in Dispute Resolution and Advanced Dispute Resolution from York University. She volunteered for a number of years with Conflict Mediation Services of Downsview and Peacebuilders International Inc. Canada Inc. All of these experiences eventually led her to law. Well...that and Harvey Strosberg.
Samantha spent 5 wonderful years in Windsor where she received two juris doctors from the University of Windsor and the Detroit Mercy School of Law and ari. She was called to the Ontario Bar in January 2019.
In her down time, Samantha spends time with her friends and family in Toronto, Windsor and Detroit. While COVID has put a damper on her outings to coffee shops, the symphony and art galleries, it has given her a plethora of time to catch up on Netflix and Amazon Prime comedies and crime/drama series.
