Saam Rehman
Saam joined Niman Mamo as an associate after completing both the summer student program and his articles with the firm. He was called to the Bar in 2025 after earning his Juris Doctor, graduating magna cum laude from the University of Ottawa. During law school, Saam created and served as President of uOttawa’s Family Law Student Association, volunteered with Pro Bono Students Canada, and held executive roles as Vice-President of External Relations for uOttawa’s Middle Eastern and North African Law Students’ Association (MENALSA) and Vice-President, French, for uOttawa’s Iranian Law Students’ Association. He is also an active member of the Canadian Afghan Lawyers’ Association.
Throughout his time at Niman Mamo, Saam has gained early experience in mediation, arbitration, and trial work, and is building expertise working on high-net-worth files. He has demonstrated a strong dedication to client service, a detail-oriented approach to files, and a genuine commitment to achieving practical and lasting solutions for clients.
Prior to law school, Saam completed his Bachelor of Social Sciences with a specialization in Political Science at the University of Ottawa. Fully bilingual in English and French, Saam is committed to providing accessible and effective advocacy for clients in both official languages.
In his free time, Saam enjoys staying active at the gym, reading up on history, politics, and the news, and spending time with family and friends.
