Kelsey Osmond
Kelsey took the scenic route into law, starting with the Law Clerk program at Centennial College before completing her undergraduate degree at the University of Ontario. She then earned her J.D. from Queen’s University in 2024, where she balanced serious legal training with some friendly competition, winning Best Respondent Factum and Second Best Overall Team at the Walsh Family Law Moot.
During law school, Kelsey worked as a researcher for Professor Nicholas Bala and completed a practicum placement with Superior Court Justice Barnes. Kelsey also volunteered with Pro Bono Students Canada where she created a family law infographic for the Elizabeth Fry Society. Before and during her studies, Kelsey worked as a law clerk at two family law firms, giving her a strong practical foundation for her work as a lawyer.
Kelsey brings a unique blend of practical experience and legal expertise to Niman Mamo. Her deep understanding of family dynamics allows her to approach each case with empathy. Kelsey’s ability to balance complex legal concepts with real-world solutions helps her guide clients through challenging family matters, always with a focus on achieving the best possible outcomes. Whether in negotiation or litigation, she is committed to providing clear, strategic, and compassionate representation.
When she’s not practicing law, Kelsey can usually be found chasing after her daughter, wrangling her three rescue cats, or happily burying herself in a good book (the cats typically sit on the book).
