Hanna Kofman

Associate

Hanna has practiced family law since her call to the bar in 2018.

Hanna joined Niman Mamo LLP in 2021. Previously, Hanna articled and then worked at a family law and estates litigation boutique, before deciding to focus her practice exclusively on family law by joining a mid-sized family law firm in Toronto.

Hanna has represented a diverse range of clients in complex family law matters, including property division, child and spousal support, and parenting disputes. In assisting her clients navigate periods of transition in their lives, Hanna takes a compassionate but pragmatic approach.

Hanna graduated from University of Toronto Law School in 2017, where she received awards in health law and feminist analysis of law. In law school, Hanna volunteered and worked at the Barbra Schlifer Clinic and Pro Bono Students Canada’s Family Law Project.

Before her legal career, Hanna obtained a Bachelor of Arts in English and Cinema Studies (with High Distinction) at the University of Toronto. While she has traded in studying books and movies for studying case law, Hanna has managed to combine her passion for advocacy and her love for pop culture. When not advocating on behalf of clients, Hanna is strenuously advocating for the merits of reality TV and romantic comedies to anyone who will listen.
