Christopher mamo

Founding Partner

Chris is the co-founder of Niman Mamo LLP.

Chris is lovably referred to by his wife as a “family law nerd”. He brings family law textbooks on vacation and admittedly has a passion for the legal components of the practice. However, what he enjoys most about family law is helping his clients through an often difficult period in their lives and being an advocate that they can trust.

Through a unique blend of compassion, experience and reliability, Chris listens to his clients and guides them through a goal-oriented process that is best suited for them. Chris often appears in court and is trained in dispute resolution, as well as collaborative practice. He is also well versed in all areas of family law and regularly acts in complex financial disputes, as well as high conflict parenting cases.

Prior to entering the practice of law, Chris received the Gold Medal at Wilfrid Laurier University and was a captain of the Varsity Football Team. He also finished in the top 10 percent of his class at Western University and was a recipient of the National Award for Living Beyond the Boundaries of Crohn’s Disease.

In addition to being dedicated to his practice, Chris has a wide array of interests including fantasy football, musical theatre and stand-up comedy. He recently developed an interest in changing diapers, reading stories and peak-a-boo following the arrival of his son, George.

He looks forward to the opportunity to work with you.
