Adriana Chimirel

Associate

Adriana is a fierce advocate who takes a hands-on approach in her practice. She has been practicing exclusively in family law since her call to the Ontario Bar in 2017. Adriana’s devotion to excellence in family law stems from the fact that her work implicates the fabric of society – the family.

Adriana has significant experience in Court having argued many motions, assisted at trial, and appeared at every type of conference in the Ontario and Superior Court of Justice. She has experience in complex family law matters relating to corporate/trust and property issues, support, multi-jurisdictional considerations, and relocation matters. Adriana regularly handles cases involving high conflict parenting issues, including child abduction, alienation, relocation, mental-health and addiction challenges, and cross-border parenting, with compassion.

Adriana worked at a family law boutique firm in downtown Toronto before joining Niman Mamo LLP.

Adriana tailors her approach to each client’s needs and relies on her judgment to determine, together with the client, the strategy that she must pursue in their particular case in order to achieve their desired outcome. She has achieved meaningful settlements in the past through negotiation, mediation, and arbitration.

When she is not in court or assisting her clients, she enjoys travel to Europe, reading Victorian Literature and philosophy, volunteering for animal welfare, and spending time with her two daughters, and dogs.

Adriana speaks and reads French, Spanish, and Romanian (conversational).
